Job fair to open

The Goodwill Career Solutions center in Jackson will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday for Wise Staffing Group and Manpower. The fair will be at Career Solutions at 15-B West University Parkway in Jackson.
Wise Staffing Group is looking to fill about 50 positions for several companies in Madison and surrounding counties. Openings include material handlers, machine operators, assemblers, painters and welders.
Manpower is looking to fill up to 70 positions in Madison and Haywood counties. Openings include everything from machine and press operators to administrative assistants.
Representatives from both companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so those attending are reminded to “dress for success,” a spokesman said. Job candidates are encouraged to bring resumes, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
