The April Kids’ Craft time at Obion County Public Library, located at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave. in Union City, will be a gardening adventure.
Children from kindergarten through sixth grade will be able to plant a library garden in preparation for Earth Day and to plant something they can take home, as well. The fun snack will be “dirt and worms”
There is a supply fee of $2 and the fun will begin at 3:30 p.m. and last an hour Wednesday, according to children’s coordinator Jenny Virgin.
Children are reminded to bring gardening gloves if they have them and to dress in comfortable clothes they don’t mind getting dirty. A limited number of spaces are available. Parents can register children at the library’s circulation desk.
