Completed arrangements are being announced for Robert Daniel “Dan” Wallace, 80, of Samburg, who died April 7, 2013, at his home.
Prayer services will be 6 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dale Batchelor officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Union Cemetery in Oneida Township, Mich.
He was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Obion County, son of the late Elzie and Lexie Clara (Locke) Wallace. He married the former Ola Maude Rogers July 27, 1953. She died Oct. 23, 2012. He was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co., where he worked for 32 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Hornbeak Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Patti and James Roberts of Grand Ledge, Mich.; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Kathy Wallace of Grass Lake, Mich.; two sisters, Harriett Cronkite of Plymouth, Mich., and Bernice Cruce of Union City; his brother, James Wallace of Lima, Ohio; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters and his brother.
