Gleason’s Jones tabbed All-State

Gleason’s Briana Jones has been named to the Class 1A girls’ all-state basketball team by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association.

Jones led the Lady Bulldogs to 21 wins and the District 13A Tournament championship while averaging 19.4 points and 9.7 rebounds.

She posted a double-double 15 times.

Lake County’s Zay Coleman and De’Sonta Bradford of state champion Humboldt earned spots on the 1A boys’ team.

The Class 2A all-state squad will be announced on Sunday.
