COVINGTON (AP) — Authorities have captured two inmates who escaped from the minimum-security annex of the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning. The Tennessee Department of Correction says 21-year-old Ashton Siler and 20-year-old Dustin Wayman were found Wednesday morning in a wooded area near Highway 51 outside Covington. The inmates had escaped the jail on Monday. Details of the escape are still under investigation. Siler is serving an eight-year prison sentence for drug convictions out of Madison County. He was eligible for parole next year. Wayman was serving a two-year sentence for auto burglary out of Knox County. He was set for release in January. Both men now face an additional five years in prison if convicted of escape.
