On March 27, Joe David and Grace Laws led the congregation in singing, “Amazing Grace.” Kerry Harris led our Bible study on the Falling Away from II Thessalonians 2:1-17.

On Sunday, Resurrection Day, our Sunday school lesson was titled, “Seeing or Recognizing” from John 20:1-31. This lesson was about recognizing and believing that Jesus is risen and His resurrection changes everything.

We had good attendance for the worship hour. After the closing of Sunday school by Kerry Harris, Dewey McClure made announcements. Joe and Jackie Laws led the congregation in singing, “The Old Rugged Cross.” Jackie played, “Holy Ground” for the offertory. Our youth signed to, “Arise My Love.” Our choir sang “Lift Your Name Medley.”

Bro. Wayne Perkins was our guest speaker. He spoke on “The Resurrection” from Matthew 28:1-8. He used many other scriptures for the three-point message. The Resurrection is a history, mystery, and victory! Is He alive in you?

We had no evening service.

On Wednesday we will be meeting at 6 p.m. for our egg hunt.

Starting April 7, Bro. Claude Miller Prince will be in our pulpit until we get a pastor.

On April 14 at 5 p.m., we will have a Retirement Service for Bro. Kieth.
