World Heritage Student Exchange Program is seeking local host families for high school students from Scandinavia, France, Germany, Italy, Thailand, China, South Korea and the former Soviet Republics for the 2013-14 academic year.
Host families provide room, board and guidance for teenagers living thousands of miles from home. Couples, single parents and families with or without children in the home are all encouraged to apply, a spokesman said.
Students will arrive just before the school year begins and each student will be fully insured, will bring their own spending money and will expect to share in household responsibilities and to be included in normal family activities and lifestyle.
