Girl power celebrated

Moms and daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters, as well as mentors and mentees, are invited to celebrate Girl Power at the Children’s Museum of Memphis April 19 from 6-9 p.m. with activities that help boost self-esteem, create closer bonds, promote self-defense and provide just plain old fun times together.
Participants will design their own Girl Power! T-shirts, enjoy a pizza party and ice cream sundaes, pamper themselves with manicures and glamour photos, learn the latest line dances, watch movies, participate in Zumba and yoga and much more.
The cost of this fun-filled event is $25 per person.
