‘Taste’ful event set
United Church of the Living God, located at 609 Martin Luther King Drive in Fulton, will host “A Taste From Around the World” Saturday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the church. Donations of $10 will be welcome, a spokesman said. “Come and delight yourself in a variety of tastes from different countries,” the spokesman added. Men’s conference slated
Pentecostal Tabernacle, located at 16235 State Route 45 South in Water Valley, Ky., will host the fifth annual Men’s Conference April 12-14 at the church.
The Rev. Tony Johnson of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Columbus, Ky., will speak April 12 at 7 p.m., with April 13 events beginning at 10 a.m., when the pastor of Greater Deliverance Ministries in Fulton addresses the group.
A noon meal will follow.
April 14 services will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Michael McClure of Turning Point Ministries in Hickman, Ky., as the speaker. Dr. Jeremy Mays of Healing Water Ministries will speak that evening at 6.

 Food pantry open
The One for All Food Pantry of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church will be open Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. at 1422 Pleasant Valley Ave. in Union City.
Those needing items are asked not to arrive any sooner than 30 minutes prior to opening. All clients must have proof of residency and proof of income.
The Rev. Caroline Farmer is the pastor.

Program time changed
The Sunday morning broadcast, “Loving and Forgiveness,” presented by the Rev. Curtis McLendon of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Tiptonville, has been changed to 8:10 each week on radio station WENK, according to the pastor.

Facility dedication set
Hornbeak Baptist Church, located at 207 Short St., is inviting the community to an open house in celebration of the congregation’s new facility April 13 from 2-4 p.m.
A formal dedication service will be held April 14 from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. with several special worship and fellowship events.

Sale planned
Manna Ministries will be selling several donated items to promote the expansion project necessary to accommodate growth at the church, located at 4001 Ken-Tenn Highway near Union City. A sale is planned for Saturday, beginning at 7 a.m. at the site of the former Joe’s Steakhouse at 3762 Ken-Tenn Highway.

Included in the sale will be solid oak divider church pews; sturdy commercial bar stools from the former Veterans of Foreign Wars; a queen-sized wooden headboard; and day care items that include several one-piece desks and chairs, tables, shelves and two-inch mats with a caddy.
