STAR STUDENTS — Several elementary students were recognized during Dresden Elementary School’s Citizen of the Month program for March. The program was sponsored by Dresden Pilot Club and Woodmen of the World Lodge 291. Each student chosen for recognition was selected by his or her teacher. They were recognized at an elementary assembly, where they each received an American flag, a pin and a Citizen of the Month certificate. The March honorees were (listed in random order, not by photo order) kindergartners Kelvia Campbell, Ryan Bone, Hayden Burris, Lilly Boyd, Trinity Hurt, Avery Cogburn and Rebecca Frazier; first-graders Grant Randolph, Destanie Dean, Aaron McAlister and Cameron Schlicht; second-graders Autumn Brackett, Lucy Curry, Grace Hull and Grace Suiter; third-graders Aysia Stafford, Hannah Peltz, Nolan Pittman, Trey Eddings, Alex Gilmer and Sarah Baggett; and fourth-graders Janelle Tanis, Terry Burkett, Mady Hoskins, Kaycie Dickens, Jadon Jones, Carlee Ryan and Riley Baker. They were joined by guest speaker Kate Moore and WOW Lodge 291 sponsor David Spencer.
