Piano artist to perform at UTM

Lenore Raphael, a Steinway piano artist, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Watkins Auditorium of Boling University Center on the University of Tennessee at Martin main campus.
Ms. Raphael, from New York, has an extensive performance repertoire. She began playing at age 3 and was on stage at Carnegie Hall by age 7.
Receiving her bachelor of arts in music education, she went on to perform in many jazz clubs in New York and New Jersey.
She has performed concerts at the Panasonic Village Jazz Festival, the International Association for Jazz Education showcase, Pops for Champagne in Chicago and Ronnie Scott’s in London.
Ms. Raphael will also be conducting a master class for students at 3 p.m. in Watkins Auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public.
