Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tucker

GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY — Mr. and Mrs. Tom Tucker of South Fulton will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the family life center at South Fulton Baptist Church. It is being hosted by their family. He married the former Glenda Thurman April 5, 1963, with the late R.H. Sullivan officiating. Kenneth Mulcahy of Fulton and the late Jean Mulcahy were their attendants. She is the daughter of the late Curtis and Frances Thurman of the Riceville community and is retired from CBK. He is the son of the late Betty Tucker of the Brownsville community and the late Robert Tucker of Ohio and is retired from Averitt Express. They are the parents of Tony Tucker and Tammy Puckett, both of South Fulton, Donnie Tucker of Union City and Laurie Austin of Newbern. They have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The couple request no gifts.
