The following cases were disposed of June 18-22 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• James E. Hill Jr. — driving while license suspended, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Andrew C. Kent — driving while license suspended, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Austin D. Reed — driving while license suspended, dismissed on payment of costs.
• Crystal A. Edgar — aggravated assault, guilty of a lesser charge of misdemeanor reckless endangerment/vehicle.
• Melody A. Hutchins — Schedule II controlled substance, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Bobby Powers — evading arrest/vehicle, guilty of a lesser charge of evading arrest.
• Bobby C. Powers — felony reckless endangerment/vehicle, guilty of a lesser charge of misdemeanor reckless endangerment/vehicle; evading arrest/vehicle, guilty of a lesser charge of evading arrest.
• Brannon B. Black — two counts of rape and one count of sexual battery, bound over to the grand jury.
• Robert E. Hogg — habitual traffic offender, driving while license revoked and resisting a stop, arrest or search, bound over to the grand jury.
• James K. Hardin — driving under the influence (first offense), judicial diversion on an amended charge of underage driving while impaired (18-20).
• Alan J. Latta — misdemeanor stalking, judicial diversion.
• Brett A. Whitworth — driving under the influence, judicial diversion on an amended charge of underage driving while impaired (18-20).
• Victoria P. Abrigo — possession and distribution of intoxicating liquid by person under 21 and public intoxication, deferred.
• Steve R. Bloomfield — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Adam G. Rash — public intoxication, deferred.
• Sophia DeShae Scott — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Jay Clark — probation violation, guilty as charged.
• Shawn Cooper — simple possession/casual exchange and theft of merchandise/shoplifting, guilty as charged.
• Mandy J. Link — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty as charged.
• Karl E. Pike — reckless driving, guilty as charged.
• Joshua L. Pollock — domestic assault and driving under the influence (third offense), guilty as charged.
• Stephone L. Rogers — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Nathan J. Stewart — driving while license revoked, guilty as charged.
• Kimberly Tate — worthless checks (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Caesare Wilkins — criminal impersonation and driving while license suspended, guilty as charged.
• Timothy E. Wilson — simple possession/casual exchange, guilty as charged.
• Maria N. Karjecki — two counts of Schedule II controlled substance and one count of tampering with evidence, waived to the grand jury.
• Michael T. Lynch — theft of property ($1,000-$10,000), waived to the grand jury.
• Deanna Powers — two counts of Schedule II controlled substance, waived to the grand jury.
• John C. Blakley — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Marlon E. Hobbs — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Zachary R. Owsley — window tint violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
