Kenton’s Jeff Chandler finished in a tie for second in the championship flight of the annual Ken-Tenn Invitational at the Fulton County Club this past weekend.
Chander’s 134 two-day total matched that of Martin’s Scott Carpenter, three shots behind champion Brandon Caballero.
Carpenter got the official second-place nod via a scorecard playoff.
South Fulton’s Chase Mayfield, a three-time participant in the state tournament in his recently-completed prep career, was second in the first flight.
Several other local linksters played in the tourney, which drew 148 golfters.
