| Kenton’s Jeff Chandler finished in a tie for second in the championship flight of the annual Ken-Tenn Invitational at the Fulton County Club this past weekend. Chander’s 134 two-day total matched that of Martin’s Scott Carpenter, three shots behind champion Brandon Caballero. Carpenter got the official second-place nod via a scorecard playoff. South Fulton’s Chase Mayfield, a three-time participant in the state tournament in his recently-completed prep career, was second in the first flight. Several other local linksters played in the tourney, which drew 148 golfters. Championship Flight 1. Brandon Caballero 131 2. Scott Carpenter 134 3. Jeff Chandler 134 4. Tyler Shellnut 136 5.
