Chamber schedules 2 events Posted: Monday, June 18, 2012 8:54 pm The Obion County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business Matters program Tuesday morning at the Obion County Public Library, and a Business After Hours Thursday evening at the chamber offices on East Church Street in downtown Union City. The Business Matters program will feature guest speaker Melissa Morgan with the Tennessee Valley Authority. The program will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the library’s conference room and will last until about 9 a.m. The title of the program is Upping Your Game Plan with Customer Analytics and Insights. The session is designed to help businesses become more successful. “Come spend an interactive hour exploring specific data from Buxton, an industry leader in customer analytics, about your specific market area,” a news release states. “Take advantage of the actionable information from Buxton as well as marketing trends and best practices from retail/small business resources to further your game plan for the future.” Specific topics that will be addressed during the session include what are customers really like in my area, what products and services might they want and how to create customer happiness.
