Gerald “Bud” Williams

Gerald “Bud” Williams, 59, of Union City died June 13, 2012, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Fremont Cemetery off Lake Road, with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Brandon, Michael D. Brandon, John Brandon, Jason Forrester, Josh Lewis and Jamie Cochran.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Hassell, Kevin Hassell, Garry Sweatt, Matt Cunningham, Chris Lewis, Gary Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Terry Hinson and Chris True.
He was born May 31, 1953, in Obion County, son of the late James Earl and Virginia (Hamblen) Williams. He married Debbie (Brandon) Williams on June 2, 1973. She survives. He was an employee of the Obion County Highway Department, where he was a truck driver for 34 years.
He is also survived by two aunts, two uncles and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Dennis Wayne Williams, who died July 23, 1976; and his brother, Jim Williams, who died March 5, 2011.
