Mr. and Mrs. Ken Cooper of Camden announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlin Dale, to Joseph McKee Priestley Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Priestley of Germantown and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tobey of Moscow. Cooper is the granddaughter of Naomi Cooper and the late Franklin Cooper of Camden and Dale and Lyndia Cochran of Murray, Ky. She is a 2004 graduate of Camden Central High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee. The bride-elect became a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and received a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis in 2011. She is employed by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the marketing and fundraising division. The groom-elect is the grandson of Martha Priestley and the late Wyatt Priestley of Greenfield, Aaron and Ann Holmes of Atwood and the late Don Grooms of Greenfield. He is a 2001 graduate of Germantown High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Memphis. Priestley became a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and received a bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran and is employed by Schneider National Carriers in West Memphis, Ark. The wedding ceremony is planned for Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Camden. After the wedding, the couple will make their home in Memphis. WCP 8.25.11
