General Sessions
The following cases were disposed of Dec. 28, Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed. All others are published, including judicial diversions, without exception.
• Don E. Curl (728 St. John Ave., Dyersburg) — violation of order of protection/restraining order, 11 months and 29 days to serve jail time from 8 a.m. Dec. 31, 2010, to 8 a.m. Jan. 2, 2011, with balance on supervised probation, and costs.
• Charles B. Justice (no address listed) — misdemeanor violation of community supervision, 11 months and 29 days to serve 90 days jail, with credit since Dec. 11, 2010, and costs.
• Dakota D. Leland (495 Cates Landing Circle, Tiptonville) — theft, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $100 fine and costs, $80 restitution to Walmart, banned from Walmart.
• Michael G. Simpson (1117 Russell St., Union City) — habitual traffic offender, waived to the grand jury.
• Codey L. Zoellner (1188 South Red McCorkle Road, Rives) — assault/attempt, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, costs and restitution; coercion of a witness, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion and costs.
• Mario A. McElrath (Union City) — two counts of aggravated child abuse and two counts of aggravated sexual battery, bound over to the grand jury.
• Damonte P. Long (900 Casey Circle, Union City) — assault/attempt, costs.
• Zachary S. Bruggeman  (457 Caldwell St., Rives) — theft, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $100 fine and costs, restitution, banned from Buckets.
• Hailey Holmes (39 Prospect St., New York) — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Jamie E. Homer (89 Highway 511, Cameron, Ariz.) — Schedule VI controlled substance/facilitation, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion (reduced to six months if all completed), $250 fine and costs, drug treatment classes.
• Stevie E. Johnson (909 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Union City) — criminal trespass, 11 months and 29 days to serve six months jail, costs, 11 months and 29 days supervised probation.
• John Mitchell (309 Forrest St., West Memphis, Ark.) — misdemeanor simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Timothy M. Moore (5036 Knox Daniel Road, Union City) — Schedule VI controlled substance/facilitation, 11 months and 29 days judicial diversion, $250 fine and costs.
• Randale E. Turley (509 Nash St., Apt. 31, Union City) — criminal trespass, 10 days jail suspended upon payment of costs and $50 fine by Feb. 23.
• Christopher Green (302 Stephen Beale Drive, Fulton) — public intoxication, 10 days jail suspended upon payment of $10 fine plus costs by Jan. 26.
