Dr. Ross Clark enjoys helping others by getting to the root of the problem.
That’s what led him to chiropractic.
Dr. Clark recently opened Align Chiropractic at 1307 West Reelfoot Ave. in Union City, just west of Long John Silver’s restaurant.
The son of Dr. Frank and Teresa Clark, he was born and raised in Union City. He graduated from Union City High School in 2001 and received a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2005.
He entered Logan College of Chiropractic in the fall of 2005 and graduated as a doctor of chiropractic in December 2008. He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is an active member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association.
As part of his graduate/post-graduate experience, Dr. Clark did his internship at Green Hills Chiropractic Clinic in Nashville under the tutelage of both the president of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and the president of the Chiropractic Board of Examiners. Upon graduation, he entered that same practice and worked until April 2010, when he decided to come back home to Union City.
Dr. Clark is an Eagle Scout and a Christian. His hobbies include almost anything that involves the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and golf.
He said he enjoys helping others “by getting to the root of the problem, rather than just masking the symptoms,” and he believes in using natural methods in order to obtain optimal health.
He practices different types of adjusting techniques, including both high and low force. He utilizes various forms of therapy to facilitate the healing process and believes in different strengthening protocols to prevent future injuries.
Align Chiropractic is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursdays from 2-7 p.m. The office will be open on Fridays starting Jan. 1.
