Del Rhea Adams, 73, of Hickman, Ky., died 9:35 a.m. May 17, 2009, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Ky.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, with the Rev. Henry Callison officiating. Burial will follow in Rush Creek Cemetery in Hickman.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Barry Cardwell, Joe Kirk, Davis Kirk, Bubba Harrison, Chris Roberts, Brence Dement, Ben Terrett and Mark Macklin. 

She was born June 20, 1935, in Hickman, daughter of the late Hallis Thomas and Lorene (Buckalew) Roberts. She was married to Dan Adams, who survives, and was a Baptist.

Survivors also include two daughters, Teresa Walker of Cadiz, Ky., and Lisa Adams of Cayce, Ky.; her son, Dan Adams of South Fulton; three brothers, Joe Roberts of Cayce, Jimmy Roberts of Ripley and Richard Roberts of Hickman; two sisters, Brenda McMullin of Pevely, Mo., and Tonnia Farley of Tampa, Fla.; and her grandson, Garrett Adams of South Fulton.
