Tyler Mayfield and Julie Vantrease | | Mr. and Mrs. Steve Vantrease are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Julie Lynn Vantrease, to Tyler Lance Mayfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Al Williams of Union City, Ethel Vantrease of Martin and the late Solon “Van” Vantrease. Miss Vantrease is a 2002 graduate of Westview High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor of science in family and consumer science. While attending UTM she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She is currently employed at the Jackson Madison County Regional Health Department in Jackson as a public health educator/ Tennessee Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program coordinator. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hill Mayfield of Piedmont, Ala. He is the grandson of Sue Yevick of Jacksonville, Ala., and the late Ted “T.L.” Yevick and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Mayfield of Hayden, Ala. Mayfield is a 2002 graduate of Westview High School and a 2007 graduate of Jacksonville State University with a bachelor of science in marketing. He is currently employed as a sales rep for Delta Materials Handling in Jackson. The couple will exchange vows Nov. 29 at the First United Methodist Church in Martin, with music starting at 5:30 and ceremony beginning at 6 p.m. A reception will follow at The Lindell in downtown Martin. All friends and family are invited to attend. Only out of town invitations will be sent. After a honeymoon in Mexico, the couple will make their home in Jackson.wcp 9-11-08 None |
