HISTORICAL THEATER

HISTORICAL THEATER — Since 2017, area students have been given the opportunity to learn about theater through Discovery Park of America’s Historical Theater Academy. The 2018 class, which included (front, from left) Hannah Carroll of Clinton, Ky., Morgan Holtzclaw and Shaylee Bonsness, both of Union City, and Linus Pulley (back) of Fulton, wrote and performed a play about the duel of Hamilton and Burr. This year’s class will be able to tell the story of Serbian-American engineer and physicist Nikola Tesla and American inventor and businessman Thomas Edison’s race to be the inventor of electricity.
