TROY MISHAP

TROY MISHAP — An 18-wheeler crashed into Bob and Shirley Moffitt’s home on Virginia Drive, just off Highway 51, in Troy on Friday evening, resulting in damage but apparently no injuries. The Troy Fire Department posted photos on its Facebook page with the message, “Extremely thankful that there was nobody in the path before the impact with the house.” Among the many agencies on the scene were Troy’s police and fire departments, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Obion County Rescue Squad, the Obion County Sheriff’s Office and Priority Ambulance, as well as Gibson Electric Membership Corp.
