Maurine Simrell Higgins, 100, of Jackson and formerly of Fulton, died July 30, 2024, at Charter Senior Living Center-Memory Care in Jackson. Graveside services were 11 a.m. Monday at Obion County Memorial Gardens near Union City. Visitation was at Horn-beak Funeral Home from 3-5 p.m. Sunday. Published in The Messenger on 8.7.24
