Don McGaugh

Donald Wesley “Don” McGaugh, 78, of Union City passed away 9 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026, at his home.

Memorial visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Don was born May 29, 1948, in Union City, son of the late Joseph Warner and Ocella (McGehee) McGaugh. He married Caroline (Robinson) McGaugh on April 28, 1968. She preceded him in death January 15, 2023.

Don was a farmer and had served in the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church and Jones Walker Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4862 in Union City.

He is survived by two daughters, Kellye Albright of Obion and Dr. Amanda Muniz and husband Michael of Franklin; four grandchildren, Dr. Parker Smith and husband Jensen of Wingo, Kentucky, Kyndall Calfee and husband Hudson of Brentwood, and Evan Muniz and Elizabeth Muniz, both of Franklin; one great-grandson, Banner Winn Smith of Wingo, Kentucky; two sisters, Shirlee Barber and husband Don of Lakeland and Ruth King and husband Jim of Collierville; and one brother, Joe McGaugh and wife Jerry of Birmingham, Alabama.
