BANANA BLAST — Madison Dallas (front) of Water Valley, Ky., tossed candy from the Superior Car Wash float, built and sponsored by her dad, business owner Shelby Dallas, as it traveled Broadway Street in South Fulton late Saturday afternoon in the Fulton Lions Club Grand Parade during the Twin Cities’ Banana Festival. She was joined by boyfriend Justin Taylor (background right), dressed as an American Revolution soldier with a confetti cannon, and their 2-year-old daughter Lennon Taylor as the Statue of Liberty. The float, which blew patriotic smoke, claimed Overall Winner honors. The festival theme was “Red, White, Blue and Banana Pudding, Too!”
