Claude Gray

Claude Len Gray, 76, of Union City passed away Thursday morning, Sept. 3, 2026, at his home.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee officiated. Burial followed in Triangle Cemetery in Troy.
Pallbearers were Derek Taylor, Zach Cunningham, Steven Worley, Brandon Armour, Alex Zalsman and Mike Crowell.
Born July 21, 1950, in Memphis, Claude was the son of the late Dr. Leonard B. and Golda (Scott) Gray. He married Judy (Worley) Gray July 3, 1987. Claude retired from the radiology department at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City after 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and playing pool. Claude was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church in Union City.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy Gray of Union City; two sons, Jim Taylor and wife, Cande, and Steve Taylor and wife, Missy, all of Troy; one brother, Andy Gray and wife, Nancy, of Bowling Green, Ky.; four grandchildren, Zach Cunningham and wife, Elizabeth, of Greenfield, Derek Taylor and wife, Madison, of Troy and Cassidy Davis and husband, Dylan, and Blakelee Taylor, all of Union City; and five great-grandchildren.
