Christie Jones
Christie L. Jones, 59, of Union City passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Van Ayer Senior Living in Martin.
Per Christie’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Christie was born June 23, 1967, in Union City, daughter of the late Raymond Cecil and Joan Elaine (Basham) Jones. She had been employed by Nashville Cares as a supervisor of the insurance assistance program. Christie enjoyed fishing, woodworking, painting, doing yard work and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Jones and wife, Carla, of Union City; special friend, Gayle Teal of White House; stepdaughter, Savannah Teal of White House; two nieces, Amber Bradshaw of Fulgham, Ky., and Jessica Curtis and husband, John, of South Fulton; one nephew, Tyler Medley of Union City; six grandchildren; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her stepson, Andy Swift.
