Bobby R. McKay

Bobby R. McKay, age 65, of Springville, TN, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at his residence. His body is to be cremated, and there will be a celebration of his life between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at McEvoy Funeral Home.

Bobby McKay was born November 9, 1960, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Boyd and Grace Wiley McKay. 

Bobby was a Veteran serving more than seven years in the Army National Guard. He loved fishing and being around the lake. He was always tinkering on something and was very helpful to his neighbors. He also loved the Tennessee Vols and the Dallas Cowboys.

Bobby is survived by his daughter, Candace McKay (Angel) Trejo of Colorado Springs, CO, and his son, Derek McKay of Martin, TN.

Besides his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his brother, Lynn McKay.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made in Bobby’s honor to the American Legion Post TN 89, 4326 E. Antioch Rd, Springville, TN 38256.
