Danny Pitts

Mr. Danny Franklin Pitts, 77, a resident of Martin, died April 28, 2026, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2026, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Bro. Charles Pratt and Dr. Ron Cox will be officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Hunter White, Jimmy Davidson, Nick Brown, Michael Brown, Chris Crutchfield and Lewis Mayo.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home, and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mr. Pitts was born on March 29, 1949, in Searcy, Ark., to the late John Franklin and Alma Lane (Grant) Pitts. He worked as a Tire Builder for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. On May 10, 2002, he married Alma Jeanette (Davidson). He was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church.
He was a devoted Christian, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a wonderful man that loved to hunt and fish and tell others about Jesus. 
Mr. Pitts was a 29 year Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Pitts of Martin; four daughters, Cindy (Tim) Yarbrough of Milan, Mandy (Charlie) Mayo of Atwood, Cassie (Mike) Smith of Nashville and Angie (Jeff) Degner of Bradford; stepdaughter, Kelly (Andy) Forsythe of Greenfield; stepson, Michael Brown of Jackson; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.
He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Zack Yarbrough; two brothers, Jimmie L. Pitts and Jeffery W. Pitts; sister, Cathy Pitts Graves; and three infant sisters, Patsy, Evelyn Kay and Monda Pitts.
