David Sanders
David B. Sanders, 82, of Troy passed away 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
David was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Union City, son of the late Ophir Thaddeus and Louise Elizabeth (Sweat) Sanders. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Troy First Baptist Church. David was a retired truck driver for A & A Trucking Company in Obion.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Norquist) Sanders of Troy; three children, Brad Sanders of Phoenix, Ariz., Thad Sanders of Kingston Springs and Nan Tilghman (Skip) of Union City; and five grandchildren, Spencer Sanders, Jack Sanders, Nick Sanders, Kip Tilghman and Wes Tilghman.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Sanders and Bill Sanders; and one sister, Jo Doris Bennett.
