TESTING ‘THE WATERS’ — Union City Police Department patrol officers Austin Wynn (left) and Seth Callens carried one of several “victims” from inside The Waters of Union City during a disaster drill staged mid-morning Oct. 22 at the rehabilitation and skilled nursing center on South Sunswept Drive. The many victims of the mock earthquake scenario were played by health occupations students from Union City and Obion County Central high schools. Numerous local agencies participated in the drill, which was deemed both a success and a learning experience by those involved.
