LIFESAVING LESSON
LIFESAVING LESSON — Firefighters worked together Saturday morning on the south lake at Discovery Park of America in Union City to help one of their peers, playing a “victim,” make it safely inside an inflatable boat during a rescue scenario. They were among 14 firefighters from the Rives, Union City, South Fulton and Hornbeak fire departments who completed an urban rescue flood certification course taught by Trident Rescue. The class was hosted by Rives Fire Department and funding provided by the Obion County Fire Chiefs Association, which receives funding from Obion County.
