Jo Rhenberg
Mrs. Mary “Jo” Rhenberg, 75, a resident of Union City, died Sept. 18, 2025, at her home.
Services will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Shock will be officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rhenberg was born on May 16, 1950, in Madisonville, Ky., to the late James Edgar and Maude Alice (Offutt) Fox. She worked as a middle school teacher for over 30 years. She played in a USTA League for several years. On May 26, 1973, she married George Rhenberg.
The family requests memorials be sent to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Jo Rhenberg Children’s Science Center at the MSU Arboretum.
She is survived by her husband, George Rhenberg; son, Seth Rhenberg and wife, Laura, both of Union City; daughter, Elizabeth Rhenberg of Morgantown, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Kobe Kirk, Piper Rhenberg and Jacob Rhenberg, all of Union City; sister, Elizabeth Conklin of Murray, Ky.; nephew, Scott Conklin; niece, Sarah McKee; great-niece, Molly McKee; and a great-nephew, Parker McKee.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Toby Fox and Jonathan Fox; and a brother-in-law, Ray Conklin.
