Leon Walden
Leon Gene Walden, age 80, of Hornbeak passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, a White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Gene Walden officiating. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday at 1:30 p.m. and run until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mr. Walden was born in Columbus, Miss., on Oct. 15, 1944, to the late Leon Greene Walden and the late Audie Maine Eads Walden. He married Mrs. Regina Brandon Walden on May 19, 2003. She survives. He worked for many years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
In addition to is wife, Regina, Mr. Walden is survived by his six children, Sharon (Larry) Chandler of Alamo, Tenn., Cathy (Mike) Walden of Munford, Wanda (Michael) Jines of Oak Field, Gene (Kim) Walden of Paris, Tenn., Shane Smith of Tiptonville and Jamie Smith of Union City; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Staggs Walden.
