Mrs. Martha Olive Edgin, 88, a resident of Union City, died June 30, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Mallonee will be officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Edgin was born on Sept. 9, 1936, in Henry County to the late Vernon Maxwell and Myrtle (Chilcutt) Olive. She worked as a Bookeeper for United Cities Gas. She married Harold Edgin in 1974. He survives. She was a member of Community Bible Church.
She is also survived by a daughter, Mitzi Markam Elam of Greenfield; two sons, Andy Edgin and wife, Angie, of Boise, Idaho, and Scott Edgin and wife, Mary Beth, of Union City; five grandchildren, Tyler Edgin, Gavin Elam and wife, Bethany, Lauren Ballog and husband, Jimmy, Katerina Edgin and Adam Edgin; and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Walker Elam.
She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dan Elam; and a brother, Robert “Pickle” Olive.
