Jeri Riley

Jearline “Jeri” Rogers Riley, 87, a resident of Beaumont, Miss., died June 20, 2025, at The Waters at Union City.
Services will be held at 10 am Monday, June 23, 2025, at Crossgate Community Church in Beaumont, Miss. Rev. Jim Slowey will be officiating. Burial will follow in Beaumont Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Riley, Justin Riley, Fred Roman, Dale Carnahan, Paul Windham and Eric Carnahan.
The family received friends from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday at Jones and Sons Funeral Home in Beaumont.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Riley was born on Oct. 25, 1937, in Beaumont to the late Jesse Johnson and Annie (Breland) Rogers.
She worked as a Secretary at Beaumont High School, and worked in accounting with Perry County Schools for 25 years before retiring in 1993. On Sept. 22, 1957, she married Lenard Riley. He preceded her on March 17, 1988.
She was an avid member of Crossgate Community Church in Beaumont for the majority of her life. She was actively involved in Youth Ministry for many years. Also serving as Church Treasurer for 17 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Beth Riley of Beaumont; son, Keith (Cindy) Riley of Union City; two grandsons, Jeremy (Jennifer) Riley and Justin Riley; five great-grandchildren, Alex Riley, Seeley Riley, Dax Riley, Gavin Hice and Alexis Hice; sister, Helen Smith of Avery, Miss.; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
