Betty Lou Tucker
Betty Lou Tucker, age 81, of Sharon passed away Monday, Feb. 17, 2025, at Weakley County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, with Bro. Tony Keeton officiating. Visitation will begin Friday at 2 p.m. and run until the time of service at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Union City on July 15, 1943, to the late Leland Guin Cochran and the late Emma Lou Cook Smith. She was married to Mr. Albert Tucker. He preceded her in death. She worked for Martin Manufacturing and H.I.S, where she sewed shirts for many years.
She is survived two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Mary Dortch of Martin and Ronnie and Brenda Dortch of Greenfield; one daughter, Deanna Thornburg of Martin; nine grandchildren, David (Kaylin) Dortch, Gary (Jaquelynn) Dortch, Melinda (Alex) Parham, Kyle (Julie) Dortch, Cristy (Jason) Miller, Nicole (Tim) Hicks, Hope (Curtis) Dortch, Brandy (Kenneth) Roach and Billy Ray McDaniel; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert (Pamela) Cochran of Dresden.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Terry McDaniel; her brother, Dale Cochran; and her sister, Peggy Dasher.
