Sherry Norton
Sherry (Cook) Norton, 67, of Union City went home to be with the Lord 12:07 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Chase Norton, John Tyler Brimm, Scott Prather, Justin Jones, John Pair and Ken Asher.
Sherry was born April 5, 1957, in Union City, daughter of the late Johnnie and Peggy (Pinion) Cook. She retired in 2024 as a payroll and human resources specialist from AHC Union City after 27 years of service. Sherry was a member of Union City First Assembly of , where she worked in sound and media. She loved the Lord and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived one daughter, Amy Johnson and husband, Brian, of Union City; two sons, Jason Norton and wife, Andrea, of Union City and Chad Norton and wife, Amanda, of Hornbeak; one brother, Jon Kerry Cook (Debbie MacClary) of Gallatin; and five grandchildren, Brianna Brimm and husband, John Tyler, of Martin, Chase Norton and Cloe Norton, both of Hornbeak, and Adison Norton and Adley Beth Norton, both of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Katelyn Grace Johnson.
