Santa Cardeña
Santa Engallo Cardeña, age 69, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at her home in Dresden.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, at White-Ranson Funeral Home and run until time of service at 3 p.m. with Brother Elwood Doss officiating.
Mrs. Cardeña was born in Mexico City on Nov. 1, 1955, to the late Bartolo Engallo and the late Tereza Quijada. She married Jorge H. Cardeña Sr. on July 6, 1982, who still lives in the family home in Dresden. Mrs. Cardeña was a modiste, homemaker, and in the eyes of her family the best mother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by their two sons, Jorge H. Cardeña and Joel E. Cardeña and their wives, Heather and Kyrston, all of Union City; six grandchildren, Ariana, Alex, Ethan, Lucas, Elias and AnaSophia Cardena, and an additional granddaughter on the way; and three sisters, Trinadad (Trini), Julieta and Paulina.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers Juan, Filiberto, Luis and Fermin.
