BALANCING ACT — Five-year-old Sally Stokes, daughter of Justin and Emily Stokes of Union City, carefully kept her balance as she tried out a piece of the new playground equipment at Kiwanis Park in downtown Union City at midday Thursday. With temperatures in the lower 50s, her family stopped by the park the day after Christmas to enjoy some fresh air. The new all-inclusive playground equipment was recently added to the existing apparatus at the park through a joint effort of the Kiwanis Club of Union City and Union City Parks & Recreation.
