Larry Scott

Larry Dale Scott, 76 of Gleason, passed away Thursday December 12, 2024 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 14, 2024 at 12 pm at Bowlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Beech Springs Cemetery in Gleason. Visitation will be held Saturday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 9 am until service time at 12 pm. Mr. Scott was born March 5, 1948 to the late Hershel and Ruth Darden Scott. He was a United States Army veteran. Larry is survived by his wife Joyce Wallace Scott, son Michael (Erica) Scott, daughters Laryssa Higgins, and Katrina (Kendal) Shaw, brothers Barry, Keith, Ronnie, Darrell, and Steve (Teresa) Scott, sisters Beverly (Ronnie) Lewis, and Brenda Tackitt, grandsons Dalton and Venny Higgins, granddaughters Terri Abbot, Presley Scott, and Kaliyah Shaw, great granddaughter Madalyn Cook. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Terry and David Scott, daughter Kimberly Cook, grandson Dakota Cook, and granddaughter Caitlyn Cook
