Sue Little
Mrs. Sue Carolyn Little, age 87, of Obion passed from this earthly life on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Cryer Funeral Home.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at 1 p.m. Burial followed in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion. The Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiated.
Pallbearers were Aaron Boone, Matthew Grimes, Alan Jordan, Jordan Tinkle, Dennis Robison and Gary Hurt.
Mrs. Little was born Jan. 4, 1937, in Dyersburg, the daughter of the late B. F. Leach and Irene Weaver Leach.
She was a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City and a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by three daughters, June (Alan) Tirey of Troy, Jo Carolyn Menees of Union City and Alicia (Gary) Hurt of Union City; three brothers, Gerald Leach of Dyer, Gary Leach of Dyer and Richard Leach of Tinley Park, Ill.; a sister, Martha Jackson of Milan; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Alton Little, on Oct. 15, 2012; a daughter, Jan Bailey; two brothers, Barry Leach and Thomas Lynn Leach; and a sister, Joann Morris.
