CHIMES’ CHEER — Union City J’Cettes members Jaclyn Marshall (left) and Danielle McWhorter bagged children’s clothing purchases as they visited with young shoppers and their families during Chimes for Charity’s annual children’s shopping tour Sunday afternoon at Walmart Supercenter in Union City. Some 225 school-age children from around Obion County were each treated to $100 worth of new clothing, while 100 Head Start kids were each allotted $75 to spend on clothes. Chimes also plans to deliver 300 food baskets to people in need on Christmas Eve, provided its $40,000 fundraising goal is met.
