Hope Stephens

Hope Stephens, age 84 of Dresden, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her home. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Matheny Grove Primitive Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am until service time at 1:00pm with burial to follow in Matheny Grove Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Lofton and Bro. Josh Hazelwood will officiate the service. Hope was born to the late James Carl Mansfield and Irene Thedford Mansfield in Martin, TN. She was a member of Matheny Grove Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Kerry (Christy Blassingame) Stephens, Kelly Stephens, and Mark (Joy) Stephens; daughters Rene (Rick) Hansen and Michelle (George) Brown; sister Kara (Kenneth) Lofton; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Don Stephens and her brother James Mansfield.
