Sue Wood
Mary Sue Wood, 93, of Troy passed away 6:41 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the home of her daughter in Hornbeak.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Sue was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Obion County, daughter of the late Odie B. and Gladys Opal (Dean) Quillin. She had been employed at the former Lear Siegler and had been a waitress for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Shelia Collins of Hornbeak, Judy Coleman and husband, Danny, of Newbern and Amanda Gant of Trenton; two sisters, Dawn Quillin of Rives and Mae Brewer and husband, James Edward, of Rives; one brother, Dee L. Quillin of Illinois; five grandchildren, Sue Ann Chessor, Crystal Deann Bing and Steven Collins, all of Hornbeak, and Danny Summers Jr. and Bobby Summers, both of Rives; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lilly May Montgomery; one grandson, Billy Wayne Breeden; one sister, Zelda Kassa; and two brothers, James L. Quillin and Dattie B. Quillin.
