Rita Reedy
Rita Sue Dyer Reedy, age 80, of Troy passed away Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Bro. Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial followed in New Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation was Monday from 11 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Josh Terry, Bryant Cruce, Randy Dyer, Bill King, Bryan Wilder and James ALbright.
Mrs. Reedy was born in Obion County on April 9, 1944, to the late Howard and Cornelia Kinsey Dyer. She was married to Mr. Raymond F. Reedy for 64 years. She retired as a Bank Teller for Commercial Bank.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond F. Reedy; two sons and their spouses, Donald and Anita Reedy of Cordova and Chuck and Amy Reedy of Union City; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Randy Dyer of Reelfoot Lake; and her sister, Shelia Clift of Troy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
