Edward Needham
Mr. Edward Melvin Needham, age 80, of Dresden passed away from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at AHC Nursing Home & Rehab. A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Needham was conducted on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, with BJ Erwin speaking. Interment followed in North Union Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 8, 1943, in Mason Hall, the son of the late Amos and Mary Pierce Needham. He retired from Terry Petty Chevrolet as a parts manager and attended Palmersville Church of Christ.
Mr. Needham is survived by his loving wife, Rona Needham; three children, Sherry (Rod) Gross, Cynthia (Jerry) Farrar and Heather Needham; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kay Needham; sister, Katie Needham; and brother, Michael Needham.
The family received friends from 1 p.m. until service time, Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Edward Melvin Needham.
