Bobby Chappell
Mr. Bobby Chappell, 85, a resident of Union City, died Sept. 6, 2024, at AHC Health Care.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2024, at Obion County Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Phillip Pinion officiated.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Mr. Chappell was born on Jan. 5, 1939, in Troy to the late Sidney and Jewell (Long) Chappell Sr. He worked as a pipe fitter for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. On Dec. 26, 1957, he married Faye Wilson. She survives.
He was a member of Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is also survived by two sons, Jeff Chappell and wife, Tammy, of Union City and Keith Chappell and wife, Cindi, of Memphis; grandson, Jody Chappell of Nashville; great-grandson, Rambler Chappell of Nashville; brother, Sidney Chappell Jr. of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Davis; and sister-in-law, Deanna Chappell.
