Bobbie Gardner

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Gardner, 92, of Martin, died on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at Signature Health Care in Rogersville. Family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. – noon at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin. Funeral service will be held at noon. Burial will immediately follow in New Hope Cemetery in Latham. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church. She retired from West TN Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in the dietary department. Bobbie was loved by all who knew her. She had a strong faith in God and was a true servant to all. She enjoyed singing the old gospel hymns and sharing her southern cooking with family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Tim (Barbara) Seaton of Rogersville and Jeff (Michelle) Seaton of Paris; daughter, Wanda Barnhardt of Kenton; grandchildren, Jimmy Moore, Deanna (Dwain) Seaton, Shannon (Carla) Seaton, Krystle (Eric) Smith; numerous great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Harold Gardner; sister, Sue Ray; brother, Rubbert Dean; and parents, Lexie and Ella Dean. Online tributes may be left at murphyfuneralhome.net.
